Cardiology is the term associated with the conditions related to heart or blood vessels. This disease is about the fatty deposit inside the arteries (atherosclerosis), and is also associated with the damage of arteries due to high risk of blood clots.

In Pakistan, one of the leading causes of death is related to heart issues and disability. It happened because of an unhealthy lifestyle, and they are many other factors involved in it.

Types of cardiology disease:

There are many kinds of cardiology diseases. 

Coronary Heart Disease:

This cardiology disease happens because the arteries block or partly block by becoming narrower. What blocks these arteries? There are many causes, such as cholesterol, calcium, dead cells, fat, etc. Researches show that 60% of deaths occur due to heart issues caused by coronary heart disease. The fact behind this is that this disease does not show any symptoms unless arteries get blocked.

Symptoms of CHD are not the same for all patients. Some common factors are:

Strokes and TIAs:

Stokes and TIAs occur in the human body when blood supply is cut off from the brain, which may cause brain damage and sudden death.

The main symptoms of a stroke are defined by the abbreviation FAST:

  • Face _in this condition, face dropped on one side. The person was not able to smile; their mouth and eyes are dropped.
  • Arms_ in these conditions, the patient is unable to lift both hands, and there are weakness and numbness in one arm. 
  • Speech_ in this condition, patients are unable to talk, and their speech garbled or slurred.
  • Time_ if you find any issue or symptoms of this disease, call on the emergency number.

Peripheral arterial disease:

In this disease, patients suffer from a blockage in the arteries to the limbs. Many symptoms, such as hair loss on legs, numbness in the legs and persistent ulcers on feet and legs, changes in the skin color of legs, shiny skins, and erectile dysfunction.

Causes of peripheral arterial disease:

There are many causes of this cardiology condition, such as 

  • Growing Older
  • Type 1 and type 2 Diabetes
  • High blood pressure 
  • High cholesterol

Treatment peripheral arterial disease:

This cardiology condition is easily cured by attaining a healthy lifestyle and medication. All you need to do is to: 

  •  Exercise regularly and give up smoking.
  • Eat a healthy diet.
  • Lose weight loss.

One of the significant causes of cardiology disease is hypertension. Suppose you are the one who suffers from a blood pressure issue. It is going to damage your blood vessels.

Use of tobacco:

Tobacco and smoking are the primary cause of cardiac diseases. The harmful substances are tobacco that can narrow blood vessels.

High cholesterol:

Another major cause of fatty substances is high cholesterol. This is one of the primary reasons for developing blood clots, which narrow down the blood vessels.

Exercise regularly:

Another major cause of the cardiac issue is an unhealthy lifestyle. If you do not exercise regularly, you will surely have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and be overweight. These factors lead you to cardiac issues.

Obese:

Low consumption of healthy fat:

If you are a junk lover and habitual of consuming bakery products Then, you should cut off fatty meals and try to adopt a healthier source of fat 

Low consumptions of sugar: 

Decease the use of sugar, and switch ourselves to organic sweeteners.

Low consumption of salt: too much sweet can destroy your health, similarity too much salt spoils your health.

Use of fiber:

Add a minimum of 5 portions of fruit and vegetables in your diet per day.

Regular Exercise:

Doctors suggest that a minimum of 150 minutes’ walk is compulsory to live a healthy life and easily do that by first starting from your comfort level. Gradually, you can increase the duration to improve your fitness.

Decrease your weight:

If you are overweight, then take help from some healthy diet and exercises to decrease weight. Aim to get your BMI below 25.

Medication:

Medication can help you a lot in decreasing the high risk of cardiac issues. It will also help you reduce the low level of cholesterol and blood pressure, which automatically reduces the risk of death from cardiology issues.
