Surgeons are doctors and nurses who work together to ensure that all the process will be done smoothly during surgery.

The surgeons are the one who is the leading member of any team. They have to complete a 4 to 5 years degree. They also have to clear the national surgical board exam.

What Does the workplace of a surgeon look like?

The workplace of a surgeon is primarily the operating room. However, it is easy to meet surgeons at an office setting or in a hospital room. They have to stand on their feet for many hours. They mostly perform surgeries in the morning and do rounds in the afternoon and evening to check on patients.

General Surgeon:

General surgeons are those who possess knowledge and understanding about anatomy, post-operative care and surgical procedure. The procedure used by doctors varies from patients to patient and as per the patient's surgery needs. They often work in trauma or critical care units to perform emergency surgical procedures.

Cardiothoracic Surgeon:

Cardiothoracic surgeons are specialized in performing surgeries related to heart, lungs, oesophagus and other organs. These surgeons are sometimes called cardiovascular surgeons.

Neurosurgeons:
